Bronze Age Bracelet,
Ocado Automated Warehouse, Erith, Kent, 2016


A landmark artwork feature prominently facing Bronze Age Way and marking the entrance to Ocado’s new 570,000 sq ft internet delivery facility – the world’s largest automated warehouse for online grocery.

Bronze Age bracelets were earned, bartered and used as currency for goods and services. The ‘O’ is also symbolic of the new occupier of the site – Ocado. The sculpture stands at around 4.5 meters and is made from galvanized steel with a specialist bronze patina coating.
